Think Outside the Bot ("the app", "we", "us") is operated by an independent developer. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Your email address or Google account identifier, used solely for authentication.
• Your chosen display name, AI character name, and sector (industry).
• Your daily game answers and scores.
• App usage data (streaks, bank balance, marketplace purchases) stored in our database.

What we do not collect

• We do not collect payment information at this time.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not run advertising or ad-tracking.

How we use your data

Your data is used to operate the game — saving your progress, calculating scores, and showing sector-level leaderboards. Email addresses are used only for sign-in and, if you opt in, to send you a daily game reminder.

Third-party services

• Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
• Google OAuth — optional sign-in via Google account.
• Resend — transactional email delivery for magic link sign-in.
• Vercel — web hosting.

Data retention

Your account and game data are retained while your account is active. You can request deletion by emailing us.
